I completely understand that afternoon tea is an experience and that you’re paying for more than just the food. However, we paid nearly $300 for one tea tower for four people, and for that price, I expected the food and service to be exceptional. Unfortunately, neither lived up to the cost. The food honestly tasted weird, and the ONLY good thing on the entire tower was the scone. I was absolutely starving when we went, and normally when I’m that hungry, I’ll eat just about anything .. but I genuinely couldn’t stomach most of what was offered. The finger sandwiches were especially disappointing. One of them was supposed to be chicken salad (according to our server), but there was basically one extremely thin layer of whatever was inside and all I could taste was bread. For what we paid, I expected the sandwiches to actually have enough filling to taste like something. The service was also extremely disappointing. I work in the service industry myself, so I understand that everyone has an off day, but we felt very unwelcomed. The overall attitude from the staff made it seem like they didn’t really want customers there. That really took away from what should have been a fun and spe

Loved this little Gem! Great service, great food and teas. We didn’t have a reservation but they were still able to squeeze us in. Loved it and will visit again when we visit Pensacola.

From the thoughtful decor outside to the atmosphere inside, it's clear that care and thoughtfulness went into every choice. My family and I have made the Olde English Creamery our chosen place for every mother's day even though my sister and I now live in different states. As much as I want to try other tea, the Chai has me locked down and the adorable elephant pot to match is perfect. The food is light but sweet with small finger sandwiches, scones, and unique items every year. If I could buy the curry chicken salad by the liter, I would... I am also a big fan of being greeted outside by the adorable tuxedo cat, Lilly, with her tidy white paws. Having a place in Pensacola where you can dress up and enjoy your family but also the ambiance is a treat and I encourage all to ensure that this gem stays a fixture of downtown.

I can't say I would recommend this place for many reasons. We didn't finish our less then appetizing food. The sandwich had a funky taste. The lettuce was a decoration and not to be eaten the waitstaff informed me. The meat and potatoes thing was bland. The scone was decent enough and the waitstaff was nice enough.

You can tell they decorated this teahouse with a lot of intention. It's beautiful inside, very whimsical! The owners are friendly and gracious. I saw a black and blue teacup that I LOVED and our server let me switch mine out for that one. I got the gluten-free Sweet Lovers Light Lunch tea. I appreciate any business that accommodates dietary needs, so bonus points for that! The baked goods were not too dry, which impressed me because a lot of GF pastries have the texture of cardboard. The meal was filling but still felt light. Presentation was perfect. My partner ordered the sausage roll and said it was delicious as well. I'm subtracting a star only because their online menu confused me. It had the shepherd's pie listed as having a gluten free option, but upon calling to book they told us there wasn't. Seems like a simple enough fix to update the website. Shoutout to the teahouse cat as well! She's gorgeous.
